I graduated from the Electrical Engineering Department of Taiwan Tamkang University and had worked as R&D engineer in Hitachi appliances Inc. in Ibaraki, Japan, and had simultaneously selling electronic components, such as semi-conductor and capacitor in Tokyo Hitachi Affiliate in Japan. After returning to Taiwan, I worked at MOTOROLA/ AMP/ Sprague Agents, and served as sales specialist, marketing manager and deputy general manager. After then UP TEKS CO., LTD. was set up in 1987, and subsidiaries were established in Japan to expand overseas offices. Our services include various active and passive electronic components of Europe, USA, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Besides the business in Taiwan, we've started overseas business since 1990, and sold to over 50 countries in the exporting market.
With the background of techniques research and development, and a long period of time staying in electronics field, I realize that to be an outstanding electronic component distributor, a good supply connection is also required to provide diverse choices for our clients. And that it is always right to continuously accumulate credits and to form reliable relationship with clients. Life pace is quickening in this technological era; however, mutual trust between clients and us can't be achieved easily but has to be built up step by step.
Since the very beginning of foundation, I've always persisted in the corporate principles of "Integrity", "Customer priority", "Globalization" and "Sustainable operation" to grasp customers' demands in time. Apart from maintaining long-term partnership with suppliers and customers, in case the supply chain is out of stock, it is also necessary to support upstream firms promoting product line and market share and to improve retailers with material preparation and the ability dealing with shortage. I've always expected that UP TEKS could become a rigid connection between suppliers and customers and provide clients with innovative, value-added service via combining tight connection with stable goods source.
When it comes to interaction between the staff, I've always believed that employees are the greatest assets of our company. Based on a people-oriented enterprise concept, I apply the concept of "family" to run the company and strengthen the relationship between staffs, and strive with the spirit of comradeship and the faith of sharing weal and woe together. Hence, there's an extremely low personnel turnover rate since the company was founded, and a majority of staff members have thrived with the company all along these years. And I am looking forward to create a wonderland for staffs to learn and express themselves freely and happily.
